Frances Callahan

Frances Elizabeth Callahan of Mineral Point, Missouri departed this life on January 24, 2014 at the Potosi Manor Nursing Home having reached the age of ninety four years, nine months and three days. She was born on April 21, 1919 in Potosi, Missouri a daughter to the late Perry Nettles and Cora Ann (Welch) Nettles.
In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husband Perry Callahan, brother Corinal Nettles, two sisters Bertha Vance, Elsie Wade, infant sisters Emma Jean Nettles and Lucy Nettles, three daughters Iva Jean Pashia, Alice Marie Fowler, Marlene Elizabeth Laws and a son Larry Leonard Callahan.
Those who remain to mourn her passing are two daughters Ann Dicus and husband Robert of Sullivan, Rose Boyster and husband Bill of Hopewell; one brother Joe Nettles; three sisters Fredia Stringer, Dolly Jenkins, Rosie Bridgeman; eleven grandchildren; twenty seven great grandchildren; eleven great great grandchildren; a host of relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services were conducted on Monday, January 27, 2014 at 2 Pm at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Jim Wade officiating.
Interment and final prayers were held at the New Masonic Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
