Flossie Mae “Jean” Cook of Mineral Point, Missouri formerly of Arnold, Missouri, was born on September 2, 1926 in Libertyville, Missouri a daughter to the late William Andrew Webb and the late Dolla (Sutton) Webb. Jean was united in marriage to Ernest Cook on October 27, 1946 in St. Louis and they shared sixty nine years together.
Jean entered eternal rest on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at the Georgian Gardens Nursing Home having reached the age of ninety years, eight months and eleven days.
Jean will be missed by all who loved and knew her including her daughter, Mary Edwards and husband Phillip of Imperial, Missouri; five grandchildren: Brenda Ramo and Fiancé James Clubbs of Mineral Point; Kristie Voorhees and husband William of Bourbon, Missouri; Lawrence Pashia and wife Elizabeth of Cadet, Missouri; Justin Pashia and wife Andrea of Mineral Point; Christopher Pashia; also surviving are nine great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Jean was a longtime member of the Salvation Army. She served faithfully alongside her husband Ernest. Jean loved spending time with her grand kids. They were the loves of her life.
Visitation will be at the DeClue Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. with Sis. Kelly Nash officiating.
Interment and final prayers will be held at the Sunset Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Lawrence Pashia, Justin Pashia, Christopher Pashia, James Clubbs and Randy Lucas. Serving as honorary pallbearer is William Thomas Webb.
