Eva Jackson

Eva Fay Jackson of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at her residence having reached the age of seventy two years and eight days. She was born on July 18, 1942 in Potosi, Missouri a daughter to the late Odie Mosier and Irene (Watson) Mosier.
In addition to her parents, Eva was preceded in death by an infant son David Saunders, sisters Alberta Marcrum, Zelda Jean Price, brothers Norman Mosier, Webb Mosier, Jim Mosier and Donald Mosier.
On February 14, 1995, Eva was united in marriage to Lawrence Marvin Jackson.
Eva enjoyed spending time with her family and grandbabies, shopping trips and dining out. She had a great personality and had a smile that would light up a room. She was loved by so many people.
Eva attended the First Freewill Baptist Church. She worked part time at Walmart as a people greater for many years, which she loved.
Eva is survived by her husband Marvin Jackson of Potosi; son Bruce Mosier and wife Rita of Potosi; daughter Tammy Hochstatter and husband David of Potosi; grandchild Lacey Vance and husband Zach of Potosi; sister in law Wilma Mosier of Stoney Point; four great grandchildren Cove Zachariah Vance, Clara Irene Vance, Ava Sue Ann Vance, Millie Alena Vance; two sisters in law Ruth Anna Brayfield, Alfreida Richards of Mineral Point; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 2 PM at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Pastor Don Strauser officiating. Serving as pallbearer's were Eddie Riess, Randy O'Neail Mosier, Zach Vance, Timothy Burdin, Joe Hochstatter and Kelly Pyatt.
Interment and final prayers were held at the Calvary Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
