Eunice Diane Fisher of Springfield, Missouri, was born on October 28, 1960, a daughter of the late Willie and Dora Maebell (Hayes) Patterson. Diane went to her heavenly home on December 24, 2021, having reached the age of sixty-one years, one month and twenty-six days.
On May 25, 1979, Diane was united in marriage to James “Jim” Fisher, and they were blessed to have spent 42 wonderful years together.
Those who remain to cherish her memory include her husband, Jim Fisher; son, Brian J. Fisher; grandchildren: Eric and Sadie Fisher; siblings: Virginia (Everett) DeClue, James (Linda) Patterson, Larry Patterson, Paul (Delores) Patterson, Billy (Mary) Patterson, Fay Patterson, Erma (Ron) Hall, Bobby (Rebecca) Patterson, and Jack (Teresa) Patterson. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her siblings: Elmer Patterson and Ida Jane Patterson.
Diane was a faithful member of First United Pentecostal Church of Republic, Missouri. She loved children and worked at Tupelo Children’s Mansion and Blue Mountain Children’s Home in Blue Mountain, Mississippi. She ministered in several smaller churches where the Lord led to assist in any facet. Whether she was behind the pulpit, leading music, or leading at children’s church, she did it because she loved the Lord.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, December 31, 2021, from 12 to 2 pm at DeClue Funeral Home, 301 E High St, Potosi, Missouri. A Funeral Service will follow the visitation at 2pm at the DeClue Memorial Chapel. Interment will be held at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Potosi.
