Emilie Sharlee Skiles of Potosi, Missouri was born on May 5, 1996 in Farmington, a daughter to Eutonia Crocker. On October 15, 2015 Emilie was united in marriage to Michael Skiles. Emilie entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 11, 2016 having reached the age of twenty years, seven months and six days. She was a graduate of Potosi High School Class of 2014.
She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her including her husband, Michael Skiles of Potosi; her son, William Lee Edward Skiles and daughter Adeline Jane Skiles; mother Eutonia Crocker and Troy Webber of Cadet; nine siblings: Ethan Crocker and wife Katarina of Cadet; Elissa Crocker of Potosi; Milton Webber; TJ Webber; Alonzo Webber; Zander Webber; Hayden Webber Gabriella Webber and Zola Webber - all of Cadet; grandparents: Jerry and Kathy Crocker of Potosi; Margaret Bullock and husband Bob of Farmington; Edward Skiles of Mineral Point and Sharon Silvey of Potosi; great grandmother Doris Crocker of Potosi; father-in-law and mother-in-law John and Joy Skiles of Mineral Point; sister-in-law Mary Ellen Lawson and husband Doug of Mineral Point; niece Trinity; also surviving are a host of relatives and dear friends.
Emilie was preceded in death by her grandparents: Edward Crocker; Roger Bilderback; Virgil and Helen Fitzwater and Mary Jane Skiles; and her aunt Crystal and uncle Nathan Crocker.
Visitation will be held at the DeClue Funeral Home on Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 4:30 PM until 9:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Friday, December 16, 2016 at the First Baptist Church, Potosi from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
A Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 16, 2016 at 11:00 AM held at the Frist Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Ainley officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in memory of Emilie tot the Caring Hearts Pregnancy Resource Center, P.O. Box 56 Potosi, Missouri 63664.
Interment and final prayers will be held at the White Oak Grove Cemetery. DeClue Funeral Home was privileged to care for the funeral arrangements for Emilie during this time of remembrance.
