Ellen Hilleman

Ellen Orene Hilleman (affectionately known as Renie or Aunt Rene) of Caledonia, Missouri, (formerly of St. Louis) departed this life on December 1, 2008, at the Caledonia residence. She had reached the age of eighty five years, eleven months and twenty days. She was born on December 11, 1922 at Banner, Missouri, a daughter of the late Charles N. Hilleman and Carrie Bennett Hilleman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers Charles Hilleman, Jr. and Wayne Hilleman and a sister in law Cynthia Hilleman.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of her life is her sister Loretta Doyle and husband Kenneth of Caledonia, sister-in-law Edith Hilleman of Bellview, nephews David Doyle and wife of Killgore Texas, James Charles and wife of Lesterville, Dennise Hilleman and wife of Bellview, nieces Donna Bergner and husband of Bellview, Melody Webster and husband of BonneTerre, and two life long friends Ruth Sones and Juanita Clark and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at 11 AM at the Britton Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Doyle and Rev. Betty J. May officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Tim Webster, J.C. Doyle, Derril Portell, Derril Bergner, Domingo Santos and Dennis Hilleman.

Interment and final prayers were held at the Caledonia Methodist Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
