Ellen Lorraine Copeland of Desoto, Missouri departed this life on February 15, 2012 at the St. Joe Manor Nursing Home having reached the age of sixty years, six months and three days. She was born on August 12, 1951 at St. Louis, Missouri a daughter to Ruby (Mosier) Wagner and the late Elbert Neal.
In addition to her father, Ellen was preceded in death by her great grandparents, foster parents Robert and Cora Copeland and a brother in law Craig Kelly.
Those who remain to mourn her passing are her fiancé Larry Sansoucie of Desoto; mother Ruby Wagner of Desoto, two daughters Charla Lowe and fiancé Charles Leamer of Minneapolis, Minnesota; Christine Demello and fiancé Chad Cooke of Bonne Terre; son Mathew (Danielle) DeClue of Desloge; four sisters Elberta (Jim) Greenhaw of Arkansas, Donna (Steve) Heathscott of Desoto, Cheri (Steve) Woods of O'Fallon, IL, Monica Kelly of St. Louis, two brothers Wesley "Butch" (Julia) Neal of O'Fallon, Missouri, Shawn (Carla) Wagner of Bonne Terre; father of her children Charles "Chuck" DeClue of DeSoto; eight grandchildren Zacchary Bell, Miranda Bell, Hayley Leamer, Samantha Leamer, Melany Limpert, Allison Cooke, Kedra DeClue and Kylee DeClue; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 11 AM at the DeClue Chapel with Pastor Randy Black officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Bob Boyer, Danny Boyer, David Boyer, Steve Heathscott, Steve Woods and Kenny Bourisaw II. Honorary pallbearer was Chuck DeClue.
Interment and final prayers were held at the St. Joachim Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
