Edward Roy Rulo of Belgrade, Missouri departed this life on December 28, 2005 at Belgrade, Missouri, having reached the age of 81 years, 4 months and 23 days. He was born on August 5, 1924 at Richwoods, Missouri, a son of the late Gustave Rulo and Teresa (Courtway) Rulo.
He was united in marriage to Kathleen Lane on October 21, 1960 in St. Louis, Missouri. Kathleen preceded him in death.
In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by one son, Leroy Rulo; one daughter, Evelyn Rogers; three brothers, Leo Rulo, Joe Rulo, Matthew Rulo; and three sisters, Catherine Rulo, Cil Seidle and Rose Boyer.
Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life include his daughters, Lisa Mitchell and husband Gary of Belgrade, Tammy Davis and husband Cecil of Belgrade, Brenda Horton and husband Mike of Belgrade; his sons, Daniel Rulo and wife Debby of Cameron, and Brian Rulo of Farmington; a brother, Clarence Rulo, Brighten, IL; a sister, Elizabeth Goetges, Alton, IL; special niece, Charlotte Smith and special grand daughter, Rebecca Mitchell; six grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, nieces; nephews; cousins and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services were conducted at 11 AM on Friday December 30, 2005 at the Britton Chapel with Rev. Ardell Gray officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Jeffrey Wilson, Michael Wilson, Don Eye, Adam Boyer, Curtis McDaniels, and Rusty Camp.
Interment and final prayers were held at New Diggins Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
