Edna Warden

Edna Alice Warden of Herculaneum, Missouri formerly of Potosi departed this life on November 20, 2013 at the Mercy Hospital having reached the age of ninety three years, five months and sixteen days. She was born on June 4, 1920 in Washington County, Missouri, a daughter to the late Albert B. Farris and Irene (Smith) Farris.
In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by her husband David C. Warden, siblings Jessen Farris, Roy Farris, an infant sister and a grandson Billy Warden.
Edna was a member of the VFW Festus Club.
Those who remain to mourn her passing are a daughter Elizabeth Self and husband Leo of Branson, Missouri; son John Warden of Branson, Missouri; daughter Margaret Iorio and husband Donald of Blowing Rock, North Carolina; two grandchildren Don Iorio and wife Michelle, Ashley Warden; four great grandchildren Donnie Iorio, Briana Iorio, Cody Warden, Allison Warden; many nieces, nephews and host of relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 1 PM at the DeClue Chapel with Pastor Randy Casey officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Don Iorio, Donnie Iorio, Art Kohlberg, Donald Iorio, Dennis Warden.
Interment and final prayers were held at the New Masonic Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
