Edith Nipper of Belgrade, Missouri passed away on September 25, 2014 at her residence having reached the age of eighty seven years, six months, and twenty days. Edith was born on March 5, 1927 in Belgrade, Missouri a daughter to the late Charles Tedder and Pearl (Martin) Tedder.
On January 4, 1941, Edith joined the Belgrade United Methodist Church. On March 4, 1946, Edith was united in marriage to the late George Leonard Nipper in DeSoto, Missouri. Together they shared thirty eight years.
Those who remain to mourn her passing are one son George "Eddie" Nipper and wife Judy of Belgrade, Missouri; three daughters: Connie Waller and husband Garrie of Caledonia, Missouri, Marcia Bowles and husband Kevin of Belgrade, Missouri, and Cheryl Keenan and husband Bob of Belgrade, Missouri; fifteen grandchildren: Deanna Redinger and husband Paul, Joe Nipper and wife Jackie, Jeff Nipper, Nicole Smith, Ronda Hutchings and husband Matt, Angie Fadness and husband Doug, Matt Waller and wife Kerie, Chris Laramore and wife Courtney, Laura Alley and husband Forrest, Stacy Laramore, Lacey Scott and husband Randy, Kaylee Adams and husband Darin, Bobbie Brakefield and husband Anthony, Travis Keenan and wife Karen, and Mark Keenan and wife Tammy; great-grandchildren: Austin, Peyton, Chloe, Garrett, Brylee, Isabella, Olivia, Chelse (Ryan), Callee, Connor, Grant, Hallee, Kohen, Dalton, Aliyah, Hannah, Corben, Regan, Shelby, Emma, Brantlee, Shealy, Colton, Lydia, Ella, Luke, Seth, Brianna and Trent; brothers and sisters-in-law Clyde and Margaret Nipper, Cyril and Bonnie Nipper, Delores and Lawrence Akers, Erma Hudson and Jim and Melba Nipper. special friends: Kathleen Richards, Cheryl Vavack, Joan Olmsted, Larry and Colleen Nipper, Carol and Harold Turner, and Pastor Robert Nash; and a host of relatives, friends, and church family who will sadly miss her.
In addition to her parents and husband, Edith is preceded in death by a son Hurshel Nipper; three brothers: Martin Tedder, Theadore Tedder, and Harvey Tedder; and three sisters: Marie Tedder, Ruby Walker, and Jewel Carlsen; and her father and mother-in-law Hurst and Ethel Nipper.
Funeral services for Edith were conducted on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jan Dillard officiating, assisted by Bro. Robert Nash.
Honoring Edith by serving as pallbearers were Joe Nipper, Jeff Nipper, Chris Laramore, Matt Hutchings, Paul Villmer, Anthony Brakefield and Mike Sadler. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers were Ryan Forbes, Peyton Nipper, Corben Laramore, Grant Hutchings, Austin Wigger and Colton Brakefield.
Interment and final prayers were held at the Jenkins Cemetery in Belgrade, Missouri. All arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
