Edgar "John" Puckett

Edgar “John” Puckett of Potosi, Missouri, was born on April 18, 1948 in Washington, Missouri, a son of the late Edgar Jessy Puckett and Marian Georgia (Evans) Puckett. John went to his heavenly home, joining his beloved wife Joann, on Monday, November 6, 2023, having reached the age of 75.

Those who remain to cherish his memory include his two children: Tiffany Puckett, and John Puckett (wife, Amy). John also leaves behind nieces, nephews, and many cousins.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Joann (Bradley) Puckett on November 6, 2022; infant daughter, Georgia Diane Puckett; paternal grandparents: John and Bertha Puckett; maternal grandparents: Price and Ginny Evans; father-in-law and mother-in-law: George and Alice Bradley.

John was a faithful member of Potosi Church of Christ, and the Mineral Area Heritage Tractor Club. He has been a farmer all of his life and was a proud owner of a Farmall Cub Tractor.

Visitation will be November 13, 2023, from 11 a.m. until the time of his Funeral Service at 1 p.m, held at DeClue Funeral Home. Pastor Tim Glasshoff will officiate his service. Interment and final prayers will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Potosi, where he will be laid to rest by his wife, Joann.
