Eddie Richards

Eddie Ernest Richards of Richwoods, Missouri departed this life on April 16, 2009 at his residence having reached the age of sixty years, five months and twenty one days. He was born on October 26, 1948 at Cadet, Missouri, a son to the late William Richards and Irene Fowler.

Eddie was united in marriage on July 1, 1972 to Ruth Ann Moore and they shared almost thirty seven years together.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life are wife Ruth Richards of Richwoods; son Paul Richards and wife Angela of Branson; daughter Cathy Thurmon and husband Joseph of Gerald; three brothers Walter Richards and wife Letty Mae of Mineral Point; Ralph Richards and wife Betty of Ironton; Elmer Richards and wife Loretta of Cadet; two sisters Gerlene Ward and husband Jim of OK; Velma Thurmond and husband John of Bourbon; six grandchildren Dakota, Michael, Gabriel, Scott, Kaitlyn and Jessica; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

A memorial service was held Monday, April 20, 2009 at 2 PM at the Britton Chapel with Rev. Wayne Kean officiating.

All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
