Earnest Gann

Ernest Everett Gann, Sr., known as "Ernie," of Desloge, Missouri passed away on May 31, 2015 at the NHC Healthcare having reached the age of seventy seven years, eleven months, and twenty six days. He was born on June 5, 1937 a son to the late Woodrow E. and Ruby L. (Gray) Gann. Those who remain to mourn his passing are his beloved wife Chyrel (Hammack) Gann of Desloge, Missouri; three sons: Ernie Gann, Jr. and wife Jeri of Desloge, Missouri; Matt Gann of Indiana; and Josh Gann of Desloge, Missouri; two daughters: Jeannette Wilson and husband Bob of Park Hills, Missouri and Michelle Spain and husband Mike of Bismarck, Missouri; two brothers: Bill Gann and wife Marsha of St. Clair, Missouri and David Gann of St. Clair, Missouri; two sisters: Delores Marler of St. Clair, Missouri and Mary Boughton of Washington, Missouri; sixteen grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, extended family members, and friends. In addition to his parents, Ernie is preceded in death by his two brothers: Jerry Gann and Sherman Gann. Visitation for Ernie was held on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at the DeClue Funeral Home from 10:30 AM - 1:00 PM. Funeral services began on Wednesday, June 3, at 1:00 PM in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dale Stringer officiating. Honoring Ernie by serving as his pallbearers were Ernie Gann, Jr., Bob Wilson, Randy Holt, Bobby Wilson, Alex Wilson, and Josh Gann. Interment and final prayers were held at the Sunset Hill Cemetery. All funeral arrangements have been cared for by the DeClue Funeral Home.
