Earl William Sansoucie of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on August 29, 2007 at Georgian Gardens Nursing Home, having reached the age of sixty-eight years, one month and twenty-three days. He was born at Blackwell, Missouri on July 6, 1939, a son of the late Fred Sansoucie and Alice (Marler) Sansoucie.
In addition to his parents, Earl was preceded in death by an infant daughter and his brother, Bernard Roderick.
He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his daughters, Donna Lamastus of Cadet, Carla Pickett and husband John of Cadet, Sheila Weible and husband Keith of Bonne Terre; a son, John Politte of Mineral Point; two sisters, Marie Walther of Blackwell, Elsie Moreland of Vichy; three brothers, George Sansoucie of Antonia, Howard Sansoucie of Cuba, Glen Roderick of Warsaw, MO; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted on Friday, August 31, 2007, 2 PM at the Britton Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Rev. Floyd Stewart officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Cody Lamastus, Howard Sansoucie, Garett Skaggs, Keith Weible, Joshua Weible and Edward Sansoucie.
Interment and final prayers were held at Blackwell Masonic Cemetery, Blackwell, Missouri. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
