Earl Lindell Gillam of Clute, Texas formerly of Potosi, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 having reached the age of eighty years, seven months and twenty-two days. Earl was born on October 19, 1938, in Quaker, Missouri, a son to the late Dewey Gillam and Sarah (Rosener) Gillam. On April 7, 1996, Earl was united in marriage to Minnie Hoffmann and they shared twenty-three years together.
In addition to his parents, Earl is preceded in death by three brothers: Charles Gillam, Carl Gillam, and Gene Gillam; and one sister, Maggie Jo Gillam.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Minnie Gillam; one daughter, Holly (Shawn) Rayfield; three step-sons: Mike Ponder, Ed (Ruth Ann) Ponder, and Tom (Jane) Ponder; two brothers: Wayne (Nancy) Gillam and Gary (Shirley) Gillam; one granddaughter, Katelyn Rayfield; seven step-grandchildren; and six step-great grandchildren.
Visitation for Earl will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at DeClue Funeral Home beginning at 12:00 PM. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00 PM with Rev. Jim Hoffmann officiating assisted by Bro. Wayne Gillam. Interment and final prayers will be held in the Antioch Cemetery, Belgrade, Missouri. Earl will receive full military honors consisting of flag folding and presentation, gun salute and Taps.
