Dorothy Hedrick

Dorothy Loraine Hedrick of Park Hills, Missouri departed this life August 19, 2012 at her residence having reached the age of eighty one years, nine months and twenty nine days. She was born on October 21, 1930 in Hopewell, Missouri a daughter to the late Luther Jarvis and Grace (Helms) Jarvis.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Monroe "Pete" Hedrick; son Jerry Hedrick; son in law Charles "Bud" Whaley; two sisters Linda Ruby and Cleo Hamby.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are two sons Kenneth Hedrick of Park Hills; Randy (Ada) Hedrick of Park Hills; daughter Joyce Whaley of Park Hills; brother Raymond Jarvis of Mineral Point; nine grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 1 PM at the DeClue Funeral Home with Rev. Claude Evans officiating.

Interment and final prayers were held at the Upper Indian Creek Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
