Dorothy Ashley

Dorothy Helen Ashley of Cadet, Missouri departed this life on January 7, 2014 at the Parkland Health Center having reached the age of sixty nine years, five months and twenty eight days. She was born on July 10, 1944 a daughter to the late Pedro Borrelli and Dorothy "Coggins" Borrelli.
Dottie was preceded in death by a brother Richard Daniel and a sister Ruth Wiesehan.
On February 25, 1969, Dottie was united in marriage to Virgil E. Ashley and they shared forty four years together.
Those who remain to mourn her passing are her husband Virgil Ashley of Cadet; two sons Virgil Donald Ashley of Farmington, Torry Lee Ashley and wife Susan of Park Hills; daughter Linda Kay Voth of Moore, Oklahoma; four grandchildren Justin Lee Ashley, Virgil Richard "Petie" Ashley, Hannah Ashley, Jenna Ashley; three great grandchildren Brentley Ashley, Macey Ashley, Addison "Addy" Wheelis; three step grandchildren Lacey, Josh and Alex Ashcraft; special friend Tina Yount, beloved pet Spanky; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 11 AM at the DeClue Chapel with Monsingor James Hanson officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Torry Ashley, Justin Ashley, Virgil R. Ashley, Chris Davis, Susan Ashley and Virgil Ashley.
Interment and final prayers were held at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
