Donna Arnett

Donna Joann (Jinkerson) Arnett departed this life on July 25, 2010 at the St. Louis University Hospital having reached the age of seventy two years, seven months and twenty six days. She was born on November 29, 1937 at Belgrade, Missouri a daughter to the late Avin Jinkerson and Jewell (Hutchings) Jinkerson.

On November 7, 1970, Joann was united in marriage to John P. Arnett and they shared thirty nine years together. John predeceased Joann on February 13, 2010.

Joann was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Belgrade.

In addition to her parents and husband, Joann was preceded in death by a brother Gerald Jinkerson; sister Mary Posey; daughter in law Stacey Arnett; two grandchildren Kelsey Arnett and Baby James Arnett.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are four sons Mark King of Desoto, Rodney King and wife Eleanor of Desoto, John Arnett, Jr. and wife Jennifer of Desoto, Donald Arnett of Belgrade; eight grandchildren Donny Arnett, Jonathan Arnett, Travis Arnett, Ashley Schuenemeyer and husband David, Megan King and fiancé Chris Shoults, Brandon King, Taylor Smith, Emily Settlemoir and two great grandchildren Zachary Schuenemeyer and Jacob Schuenemeyer; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at 11 AM at the Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Conboy officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Christopher Shoults, Brandon King, Donny Arnett, Jr., Mark King, John Arnett, Jr. and Rodney King.

Interment and final prayers were held at Liberty Baptist Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
