Donald Parks

Donald Glenn Parks of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on October 26, 2011 at his residence having reached the age of seventy six years, one month and ten days. He was born on September 16, 1935 at Hickman, Kentucky, a son to the late Harry Parks and Margaret (Campbell) Parks.

On June 16, 1956, Donald was united in marriage to Juanita Hall and they shared fifty five years together.

Donald served in the United States Army from 1954-1956 and received the National Defense Service and Good Conduct Medal.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by an infant son Donald Glenn Parks, II; four sisters infants Sheila and Sharon Parks; Peggy Bennett, Anita Ray and brother Larry Parks.

Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife Juanita Parks of Potosi; three sons Gregory Parks of Desloge; Doniel L. Parks of Fenton; Daniel G. (Rene) Parks of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; two sisters Sylvia Carden of East Prairie; Shirley (Michael) DeCenso of Ocalla, Florida; two grandsons Tyler Parks, Adam Parks; two granddaughters Sara Parks and Erin Parks; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 11 AM at the DeClue Chapel with Bro. Verlon Pritchett officiating.

Interment and final prayers were held at Caledonia Methodist Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
