Donald Lee Gallaher of Caledonia, Missouri departed this life on August 9, 2009 at the St. Anthony?s Medical Center having reached the age of seventy two years, eleven months and nine days. He was born on August 31, 1936 at Black, Missouri a son to the late Roy Gallaher and Goldie (Trolinger) Gallaher.
On June 21, 1958, Donald was united in marriage to Darlene Owens and they shared fifty one years together.
Donald was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah?s Witnesses in Potosi, Missouri.
In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by two brothers Tommy Gallaher and Charles Gallaher.
Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life are wife Darlene Gallaher of Caledonia; two daughters Diane Nicol and husband Larry of Caledonia, Dana Schneedle of Cuba; two sons Donnie Gallaher and wife Cheryl of Farmington, Travis Gallaher and friend Amanda Asberry of Farmington; sister Marsha Trokey of Farmington; brother Sam Gallaher and wife Betty of Belleview; twelve grandchildren; six great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at 10 AM at the DeClue Family Chapel with Elder Allen Aubuchon officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Richard Gallaher, John Gallaher, Brandon Williams, Micah Williams, Michael Litton and Donnie Scott.
Interment and final prayers were held at the Caledonia Methodist Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
