Donald Louis Buckley of Belgrade, Missouri, was born on May 9, 1939 at Palmer, Missouri, a son of the late Clyde M. Buckley and Rosie Pearl (Berry) Robinson. Donald passed away peacefully on Friday, October 18, 2019 at his home having reached the age of eighty years, five months and nine days.
On June 27, 1964 Donald was united in marriage to Glenda Turner at Belgrade United Methodist Church and they shared fifty-five years together.
Donald will be missed by all who knew and loved him including his loving and devoted wife Glenda Buckley; two sons: Donald Wayne Buckley and Michael Glynn Buckley; two grandchildren: Heather Nicole Buckley and Dwight Quentin Buckley; four great grandchildren: Levi Michael Starr, Carter Lee Walters, Cameron Anthony Walters, Dakota Ray Lee Walters; two brothers: Randall Buckley and wife, Judy; David Buckley and wife, Clarice; one sister, Shelba Davis and husband Bud; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law: Tom Turner, Bob Turner, Sharon and Charlie “Butch” Coleman; also surviving are nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Donald was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Buckley; mother, Rosie Pearl Robinson; step father, Virgil Robinson; and two brothers: Harold Buckley and Robert Summers.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 22, 2019 from 10 AM util 2 PM at DeClue Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at 2 PM held at the DeClue Chapel with Bro. Bryan Buckley officiating.
Interment will follow in the Caledonia Methodist Cemetery. Donald will receive full military honors presented by the U.S. Air Force and VFW Post 6947.
