Donald Blair

Donald Robert Blair of Mineral Point, Missouri passed away on November 11, 2015 at his residence having reached the age of seventy five years, two months, and two days. He was born on September 9, 1940, a son of the late Lonie Blair and the late Violet (Gilliam) Blair.

Donald is survived by his beloved wife Thelma (Hawkins) Blair of Mineral Point, Missouri; two sons: Andy Blair and wife Lori of Mineral Point, Missouri and Lon Paul Blair and wife Shelly of St. James, Missouri; two daughters: Vicki Skaggs-Cochrane of Islamorada, Florida and Mandy Blair-Dennis of Potosi, Missouri; brother Dennis Blair and Judy Roy of Potosi, Missouri; three sisters: Sharon Meyers and husband Jack of Leadwood, Missouri, Linda Daugherty of Park Hills, Missouri, and Anita Evans of Ohio; nine grandchildren: Jared, Carrie, Justin, Bradley, Kylie, Morgan, Paxton, Josh, and Lauren; and two great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Donald is preceded in death by his daughter Cathy Hopkins; brother-in-law Smoke Daugherty; sister-in-law Laury Blair; nephew Blaine Daugherty; and niece Cathy Akers.

Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, November 14, 2015, at 1:00 pm held at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Elder Mike Jarvis officiating assisted by Elder Leonard Compton.

Honoring Donald by serving as his pallbearers will be Andy Blair, Lon Paul Blair, Justin Dennis, Dennis Blair, Travis Halbert, and Gary Adams. Serving as an honorary is Bradley Dennis.

Interment and final prayers will be held at the Lakewood Cemetery in Shirley, Missouri. All funeral arrangements have been cared for by the DeClue Funeral Home.
