Doloris Frieda Kirchhofer of Hinton, OK passed away Friday, January 20, 2012 having reached the age of 83 years, 8 months and 7 days. She was born May 13, 1928 in Boss, MO to William Lloyd Farmer and Eunice M.(Gill) Farmer. For 22 years, Doloris (Dee) was married to Roy Bradley, and they shared 4 daughters. On July 26, 1975, Dee married Al Kirchhofer and had 18 years together prior to his passing away in 1993.

Dee always enjoyed working and was a retail clerk in the grocery business most of her life. She worked for National Food and Flotken's Market in St. Louis, MO prior to her and Al owning and operating the Al & Dee Market's in Potosi, Viburnum, and Caledonia, MO. Dee and her husband also had a small farm (the family's haven) where they raised a few cattle and hogs. Dee was quite active as she enjoyed gardening and quilting. She was a longtime member of the Caledonia Methodist Church, member of the United Methodist Church of Hinton, as well as the United Methodist Women's group, member of the Quest Club of Hinton and leader of the Missouri Community Betterment of Caledonia for several years. In 1997, Dee moved to Hinton, OK to be near her daughters and never regretted a moment of it. She enjoyed her grandchildren and being close to them.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are daughters: Barbara Golliday of Springfield, MO, Kelly Warden and husband Mark of El Reno, OK, and Linda Brewster and husband Travis of Hinton, OK and stepchildren: Al J. Kirchhofer and wife Sharon of St. Louis, MO, Carla Mckean of St. Louis, MO, Dolores Miller and husband Jim of St. Louis, MO and Janice Willenburg of FL. She is also survived by her sister Fay Bell and husband Jim of Pevely, MO, her sister Shirley of MO and sister-in-law Karen Farmer of St. Louis, MO. Dee's grandchildren include Dawn McCoy and husband Clark, Dwayne Golliday, Laura Golliday, Dustin Warden and wife Amber, Dylan Warden, Krystal Ketcherside, Betty Ketcherside, Rikki Ketcherside, and Tristan Brewster. There are 11 great grandchildren, 2 great great granddaughters and numerous other step-grandchildren and step great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends, including longtime friends JoAnne Sunderman, Norman Short and Kenny Fiebelman who will sadley miss her.

In addition to her parents, Dee was preceded in death by her daughter Nancy Bradley, step-son Mike Kirchhofer, sister Melba Bailey as well as her husband Dave, sister Earnetha Jimmerson as well as her husband Lou, and her brother Vernon Farmer.

Friends may pay respect to Mrs. Kirchhofer's family on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 from 4 - 8 pm at the DeClue Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 11 am at the Caledonia United Methodist Church with Pastor Joseph Lawson officiating.

Interment and final prayers will be held at the Boss Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were respectfully cared for by the DeClue Funeral Home, Missouri, Potosi.
