Derek Joseph Hayes of Cadet, Missouri departed this life on June 3, 2009 having reached the age of nineteen years and twenty eight days. He was born on May 6, 1990 a son to Roger Hayes and Janet Rath Hayes.
Derek was preceded in death by a grandfather Howard David Hayes.
Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life are his parents Roger ?Alan? Hayes and Janet Hayes of Cadet; daughter Chloe Lynn Hayes of Cadet; brother Shane Hayes and wife Jill of Cadet; grandparents Shirley Hayes of Cadet, Pat Rath and Bob Rath of Cadet; Nephew Devin Hayes of Cadet; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services were conducted on Friday, June 5, 2009 at 1 PM at the DeClue Family Chapel with Rev. Leonard Compton officiating.
Interment and final prayers were held at Sitton Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
