Dennis Vineyard

Dennis Wendell Vineyard, 71, of Goldsboro, North Carolina, formerly of Belgrade, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at the Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on April 27, 1953 to the late William “Bill” and Marilyn (Snyder) Vineyard.

Left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Vicki (Steve) Lowery; three grandchildren: Alyssa Vineyard-Lowery, Payton Lowery, Landon Lowery; three siblings: William (Linda) Vineyard, James (Kimberly) Vineyard, and Pamela Vineyard. Dennis also leaves behind nieces, nephews and extended family members.
In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his nephew, Jason Vineyard; and special friend, Patricia Grace.

Dennis was an avid outdoorsman. Throughout the years, he enjoyed many camping trips, fishing, reading, traveling, and watching late night storms. Dennis was quite the pool player in his time. He played on different leagues and even taught his family. Dennis loved spending time with his grandchildren. He placed his family above anything. Some of his favorite memories were sitting in the creek with his grandchildren and exploring the country. No matter where Dennis was in the world, Belgrade, was always his home.

A time of Visitation will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024 at Belgrade Methodist Church from 10 am until the time of his Funeral Service at 11 am. Interment and final prayers will be held at Sunlight Cemetery in Belgrade.

In lieu of flowers, Dennis’ family wishes for memorial contributions be made to their local church youth group where two of Dennis' grandchildren attend. Ignite Student Ministries of Pikes Crossroads Church in Pikeville, NC.
