Delores Yount

Delores June Yount also known by family and friends as "Dee", passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Mercy Jefferson Hospital at the age of eighty. Dee was born on May 1, 1939 in Hopewell, Missouri, a daughter of the late Aulden Farrell Arndt and the late Dorothy Mae (Gibson) Arndt. On December 27, 1969, Dee was united in marriage to Jim O. Yount and they shared forty-eight years together.

In addition to her father and mother, Dee was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jim Yount; dear son, Stanley McGough; brother, Farrell Arndt; sister, Rita Daugherty; and grandson, Devin York.

Dee is survived by a son, John (Toni) Yount; four grandchildren: James (Crystal) Yount, Sarah (Stephen) Jones, Angela Yount, Dawn (Joseph) Rossetti; four great-grandchildren: Ian, Alison, Jackson, and Mia; four siblings: Darrell (Alberta) Arndt, Brenda (Thomas) Cowley, Judy (David) Woodside, and Diane (Mike) McKinley; also surviving are nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 13, 2019 from 4:30 - 8:00 PM and Tuesday, May 14, from 9:00 - 11:00 AM at the DeClue Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 11:00 AM held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Elder Mike Jarvis officiating. Interment will be held in the Hopewell Cemetery.
