Delores Geneva Lawson of Farmington, Missouri formerly of Potosi, was born on November 2, 1929 in St. Louis, Missouri a daughter to the late John Henry Dunn and the late Ethel Emiline (Cowin) Dunn.
Delores entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at the Community Manor Nursing Home having reached the age of eighty seven years, one month and eleven days.
She will be missed by those who knew and loved her including her three children: Sonya and husband Judge Troy Hyde of Potosi; Pamela Worley of Farmington; Greg Lawson and Branda of Potosi; brother Benny Dunn and wife Margaret of Potosi; sisters Gloridean Henson of Potosi; Helen Francis of Park Hills and Marilyn Kennedy of Park Hills; seven grandchildren: Chris Boyer; Shannon Boyer; Chasity Foster; Ricky Lawson Jr.; Derick Lawson; Levi Lawson and Lillie Rae Lawson; also surviving are great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Delores was preceded in death by her dear beloved, Ricky Lawson; sister Sherre LaPlante; brothers: Gene, Donald and Richard Dunn.
Visitation will be held at the DeClue Funeral Home Friday, December 16, 2016 from 4:30 PM until 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Saturday, December 17, 2016 from 8:30 AM until 10:00 AM.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 10:00 AM held at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Rev. Joseph “Bud” Lawson officiating. Interment and final prayers will be held at the Redbud Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri.
