Deborah Skaggs

Deborah Ann (Wade) Skaggs of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on July 15, 2013 at the Des Peres Hospital having reached the age of fifty two years. She was born on August 12, 1960 in Bonne Terre, Missouri a daughter to Robert V. Wade and JoAnne (Wisdom) Wade.

Deborah was preceded in death by her grandparents Floyd & Elsie Wade, Irvin & Audrey Wisdom; father in law Everett Skaggs; brother Robert Wade Jr; two nieces Deanna Litherland and Kaylee Wade.

On November 24, 1990, Deborah was united in marriage to James Skaggs and they shared twenty two years together.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are her husband James "Flash" Skaggs of Potosi; parents Robert V. & JoAnne Wade of Potosi; daughter Shelia Elliott and Gary of Belgrade; two brothers Jamie Wade and Chris of Park Hills; Alex Wade of Potosi; sister Cheryl Lynn Hicks and Ron of Montana; four grandsons Riley Watters, Dante Watters, Michael Elliott, Landrick Elliott; two granddaughters Kiera Bone, Hailee Elliott; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 1 PM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Jim Wade officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Stanley Boyster, Alex Wade, Jay Wade, Will Wade, John Gillam, Josh Wade, Greg Riddle and Danny Skaggs. Honorary pallbearers were Dante Watters, Riley Watters and Dan Skaggs.

Interment and final prayers were held at the Sunset Hills Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
