Deborah Benson

Deborah Fontaine Benson of Potosi, Missouri was born on January 18, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri, a daughter to the late Leon McCallister and the late Norene (Kemper) McCallister. On January 13, 2001, Debbie was united in marriage to Alvin Benson and they shared fifteen years together.

Debbie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her including her beloved husband, Alvin Benson of Potosi; three daughters: Shelia Santhuff of Potosi; Jill Shy of Farmington; Kelli Santhuff and Robert Eaves of Potosi; three sisters: Eyvonne, Pam and Rhonda; six grandchildren: Zach McMahan, Lindsey Johnson, Jessica Humphrey, Matthew Humphrey, Katie Santhuff and Brandon Wimer, Nathan Boyer and wife Vickie; four great grandchildren: Ridge, Owen, Luke and Evelyn.

In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by one grandson, Gage Wimer; maternal grandparents: Mr. & Mrs. Kemper; and her puppies: Jack and Moses.

A private service will be held by the family at a later date.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
