David Hinkle

David Eugene Hinkle of Mineral Point, Missouri departed this life on July 1, 2006 at the Jefferson Memorial Hospital, having reached the age of 45 years, 10 months and 1 day. He was born on August 31, 1960 in St. Louis, Missouri, a son of Don and Elvira Hinkle.

On July 23, 1993, David married Donna Criteser in a ceremony held at Hopewell, Missouri. They shared thirteen years of marriage together. David was a loving and devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life include his wife Donna Hinkle; his parents Don and Elvira (Fann) Hinkle of Mineral Point; his children David Adam Keith Hinkle of Mineral Point, Amy Warden and husband Aaron of Caledonia, Scott Barton and wife Andrea of Mineral Point, Clifton Barton and wife Heather of Fort Riley, Kansas, John Pratt of Mineral Point and Kerry Pratt of Mineral Point; four sisters Donna King and husband David of Mineral Point, Tammy Lawson and husband Jeff of Irondale, Tracy Ames and husband David of Mineral Point, Cindy Anderson and husband Lee of Mineral Point; one brother Gary Hinkle and wife Jeanie of Mineral Point; three grandchildren, Tyler Barton, Hunter Barton and Kaidyn Barton; nieces; nephews; cousins; aunts; uncles and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 PM on Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at the Britton Chapel with Rev. Jim Wade officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Adam Hinkle, Scott Barton, Clifton Barton, John Pratt, Kerry Pratt, Carl Brawley, Nick Henry and James Hinkle.

Interment and final prayers were held at Hopewell Cemetery, Mineral Point, Missouri. All arrangements were entrusted to the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
