David Hampton

David Lee Hampton of Mineral Point, Missouri departed this life on June 8, 2011 at the Potosi Manor Nursing Home having reached the age of sixty eight years and one day. He was born on June 7, 1943 at St. Louis, Missouri a son to the late Orville Hampton and Marie (Yordt) Hampton.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by a sister Lois Warden.
David served in the United States Air Force from June 1960 – June 1962.
On October 24, 1970, David was united in marriage to Vivian Roberson and they shared forty one years together.
Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife Vivian Hampton of Mineral Point; three sons Scott Hampton and girl friend Kailua of Hawaii; Sean Hampton and wife April of Mineral Point; Jackob Hampton and wife Lacey of Branson; brother Orville Hampton and wife Mavis of Lancaster, CA; seven grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
A Funeral service was conducted on Friday, June 10, 2011 at 11 Am at the DeClue Family Chapel with Rev. Don Strausser officiating.
All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
