David "Lou" Cantrell of Mineral Point, Missouri passed away on November 23, 2015 at the St. Anthony's Medical Center having reached the age of fifty seven years, eleven months, and six days. He was born on December 17, 1957, a son to the late Harry David and Eva (Woods) Cantrell.
Lou is survived by his beloved wife Ruth Ann Cantrell of Mineral Point, Missouri; son Joshua Cantrell and wife Jennifer of Shirley, Missouri; two daughters: Laura DeClue and husband Hubert "Gub" and Melissa Murphy - both of Mineral Point, Missouri; seven grandchildren Isabella, Chastin, Sophia, Hayden, Grant, McKenna, and Ashleigh; three sisters: Ginger Thurman and husband Rev. Bob, Susan Asher and husband Layne, and Sandy Kennedy and husband Tom - all of Mineral Point, Missouri; father and mother-in-law Ron and Cindy Curry of Potosi, Missouri; mother-in-law Maxine Curry of Stoney Point, Missouri; also surviving are many nieces, nephews, relatives and a host of friends.
Visitation for Lou was held on Friday, November 27, 2015 at the DeClue Funeral Home from 4:30 PM - 8:00 PM. Funeral services conducted on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at the DeClue Memorial Chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev. Bryce Wilson officiating.
Honoring Lou by serving as his pallbearers were Thomas Kennedy, Rudy Zuelling, Adam Hinkle, Heath Thurman, Ricky Williams, Gerald Poucher, Ronnie Emily, Scott DeClue, Kaleb Weir, and Terry Drennen.
Interment and final prayers was held at the Cantrell Cemetery. All funeral arrangements have been cared for by the DeClue Funeral Home.
