Dannie Hamby

Dannie Hamby Sr., of Cadet, Mo, passed July 5, 2012 at The Jefferson Regional Medical Center having reached the age of 64 years, 7 Months and 18 days. Dannie was born November 17, 1947 a son to the late Luther Hamby and Rose Ellen (Barton) Hamby.
In addition to his parents Dannie was preceded in death by his brother's Vernon Hamby, Luther Hamby, Orville Hamby, Walter Hamby, Ronnie Hamby; Sister's Velma Hamby, Norma Hamby, Loretta Hamby; Brother's In Law Oliver DeClue, David Mosier, Corky Christopher; Sister In Law's Leslie Hamby and Cleo Hamby.
Dannie is survived by wife Lucy Hamby; Daughters Wendy White and husband Terry of Park Hills, Barbie Cullum and husband Michael of Waterloo, Il, Amanda Skaggs and husband James of Potosi, and Candice Wood and husband Eric of Fredericktown; Sons Luther Hamby and wife Andrea of Potosi, Benjamin Hamby of Potosi, Danny Hamby II of Potosi; Thirteen grandchildren; Brothers Pete Hamby of Cadet, Kenny Hamby and wife Kay of Cadet, Bob Hamby of Cadet; Sisters Kathy Jarvis and husband Jim of Mineral Point, Annetta Drake and husband Ralph of Independence, Missouri, Vermna Crocker and husband Carl of Mineral Point, Beulah DeClue of Mineral Point, Dorothy Mosier of Potosi, and Mary Pollock of Mineral Point.
Visitation was held at the DeClue Chapel Sunday, July 8, 2012 from 4:30PM to 8 PM. Funeral Services were held Monday, July 9, 2012 at 1 PM with Rev. Leonard Compton officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Luther Hamby, Michael Cullum, Pete Hamby, Dannie Hamby, II, Eric Wood and Ronnie Skiles, III.
Interment and final prayers were held at Sunset Hills Cemetery. All funeral arrangements were cared for by DeClue Funeral Home.
