Damon Egbert Jarvis of Potosi, Missouri was born on July 6, 1926 at Courtois, Missouri a son to the late David R. and Bessie L. (Hutchings) Jarvis. Damon passed away at Georgian Gardens Nursing Home on Thursday, April 19, 2018 having reached the age of ninety-one years, nine months and thirteen days.
Damon was united in marriage to Ruby Lee Mason on March 10, 1943 and two children were born to this union. Damon and Ruby attended Belgrade First Church of God for many years until their health failed. Damon enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing and gigging.
Damon is survived by one son, Mac (Lily) Jarvis; one daughter, Phyllis (Terry) Moore; three grandchildren: Tina Jarvis; Mac Jr. (Chris) Jarvis, Cory (Melissa) Woodruff; great-grandchildren: Chad Mosier, Tonya (Cory) Wilson, Shaye Woodruff and Josh Jarvis: great-great grandchildren: Cayden Mosier, Hunter Wilson, Mason Wilson; three sisters: Charlotte Mason, Larna Huff and Nelda Blair; one sister-in-law, Frieda Jarvis; also surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him.
In addition to his father and mother, Damon was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ruby; brother, Darwin Jarvis; sister, Revay O’Brien and two infant brothers.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 23, 2018 from 4:30-8 p.m. and Tuesday, April 24, from 9-11 a.m. at the DeClue Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Pastor Michael Winick officiating

Interment and final prayers will be held at Antioch Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted into the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
