Cozy Dockery

Cozy Janette Dockery of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on January 22, 2009 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital having reached the age of seventy eight years, eleven months and fourteen days. She was born on February 8, 1930 a daughter to the late Sylvester W. Stewart, Sr. and Cozy E. Gains Stewart.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Dockery; brother Sylvester W. Stewart, Jr.; sister Francis Joann Lanham and lifetime friend Harley Lanham.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of her life are her daughter Charlotte Dean and husband Charles of Potosi; granddaughters Jennifer Dean and special friend Scott Masson; Lori Dean and special friend Timothy Fowler, Sr.; brother Arthur Stewart; great grand children Scott Masson, Charlene L. Masson, Dakota Masson, Timothy Fowler and Aaliyah Fowler; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, January 25, 2009 at 2 PM at the Britton Chapel with Rev. Jamie Haguewood officiating.

Interment and final prayers were held at New Diggins Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
