Colin Whitley

Colin Keith Whitley of Potosi, Missouri was born on June 8, 2001 in Festus, Missouri a son to Colin Whitley and Tina (Govro) Whitley. Colin joined the Angels in Heaven on Thursday, December 22, 2016 having reached the age of fifteen years, six months and fourteen days.

Colin will be missed by all who knew and loved him including his dad and mom, Colin and Tina Whitley of Potosi; four brothers: Timothy Helms; Dillon Whitley and wife Kayla; Dalton Whitley; Carter Whitley; two sisters: Savannah Helms and Alexis Whitley; grandparents: John Lee and Barb Whitley of Potosi; Randy Govro of Potosi; great grandparents: Verlon and Lorraine Govro; uncles and aunts: Brandon and Chelcie Whitley; Randy Govro; Michelle Whitley and Mike Battreal; Sonya Whitley and Donnie Mellerup; Collen and Jason Edgar; Lisa and D.J. Laramore; six additional aunts and uncles; twenty cousins; three second cousins and many other relatives and friends.

Colin was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Jo Ann Govro.

Visitation will be held at the DeClue Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 from 9:30 AM until 1:00 PM.

A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Bro. Don Strauser officiating.

Interment and final prayers will be held at the Whitley Family Cemetery. DeClue Funeral Home was privileged to care for the funeral arrangements for Colin during this time of remembrance.
