Colin Russell

Colin Duane Russell of Belgrade, Missouri passed away on November 19, 2014 at his residence having reached the age of forty eight years, five months, and twenty six days. He was born on May 24, 1966 a son to Wanda (Marler) Russell and the late Joel V. Russell.
On May 3, 1996, Colin was united in marriage to Jackie (Houke) Russell and together they shared eighteen years. Colin was a wonderful man. He never met a stranger. He loved his family with all of his heart. Colin attended church while in Mishawaka, Indiana at the Ireland Road Church of God. When he was home in Missouri he attended the Arnault Branch Church of God. He was a faithful servant to the Lord. He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. Following High School, Colin attended college and received his Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. In 1994 he started his journey in hearing aid specialty. Colin was a "good ol' boy" from Washington County. His memories will forever live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
Those who remain to mourn his passing are his beloved wife Jackie Marie Russell of Mishawaka, Indiana; his mother Wanda Russell of Belgrade, Missouri; one brother Warren Russell of Belgrade, Missouri; mother-in-law Lillian Garman of Toledo, Ohio; two sister-in-laws: Cathy Bell and husband Jim of Toledo, Ohio and Phline Russell of Belgrade, Missouri; nephews: David Aaron Alverman and wife Lindsey of Petersburg, Michigan, Andy Russell and wife Amanda of Belgrade, Missouri, and Aaron Russell of Belgrade, Missouri; niece Amanda Russell of Farmington, Missouri; great nephew Joel William Russell; two special puppies: Wizby and Pearl; and many other relatives and friends.
Along with his father, Colin is preceded in death by a brother Randall Russell, father-in-law Jack Emerson Houke, sister-in-law Janet Lee Alverman, and niece Sarah Lynn Alverman.
Funeral services for Colin were held on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jim Wade officiating.
Honoring Colin by serving as his pallbearers were Warren Russell, Sheldon Marler, Dustin Lands, Aaron Russell, Brian Russell, Travis Russell, Derek Gensler, and Wesley Horton.
Interment and final prayers were held at the Scott Cemetery in Belgrade, Missouri. All arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
