Clyde Mcantire

Clyde Cecil McAntire of Springfield, Illinois departed this life on September 5, 2011 at the St. John's Hospital having reached the age of fifty four years, one month and nine days. He was born on July 27, 1957 at Washington County, Missouri a son to the late Robert McAntire and Edna (Lucas) McAntire.

In addition to his parents, Clyde was preceded in death by a brother Edward McAntire.

Those who remain to mourn his passing are two sons Bobby (Sarah) McAntire of Humansville, Missouri; Chris McAntire of Fairfield, Missouri; daughter Jonie Bryant of Springfield, Missouri; two brothers James (Connie) McAntire of Irondale; George (Pam) McAntire of St. James; four sisters Margie Estep of St. James; Terri (Bob) Copeland of St. James; Marie (Roger) Yon of Illinois; Roseanne (Tommy) James of Londell, Missouri; ex wife Shirley Atkinson; five grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on Monday, September 12, 2011 at 12 Noon at the DeClue Chapel with Brother Claude Evans officiating. Serving as pallbearers were James R. McAntire, George McAntire, Ryan James, Tom James, Shawn Thomas and Dennis McAntire

Interment and final prayers were held at Mission Ridge Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
