Clyde Wayne ?Butch? Dobbs of Cadet, Missouri departed this life on June 13, 2007 at Washington County Memorial Hospital, having reached the age of 39 years, 7 months and 8 days. He was born on November 5, 1967 at Jeferson County, Missouri, a son of Francis Dobbs and the late Janet Courtway.
In addition to his mother, Butch was preceded in death by three brothers, Michael Courtway, Francis Dobbs, Jr., Larry Boyer; and a niece, Myka Dobbs.
Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life include his father, Francis Dobbs of Cadet; a daughter, Christina Cowley of Bonne Terre; a daughter, Casey Blake of Springtown; step-children, Scott Perry, Joe Perry, Jeff Perry and Karen Moss; brothers, Naymond Dobbs and wife Karen of Cadet, Frankie Dobbs of Cadet, William Dobbs and wife Sue of Greenfield, IL, Marvin Dobbs and special friend, Teresa Miller of Springtown; sisters, Virginia Banister and husband Jeff of Cadet, Lesa Dobbs and fiance? Mickey Hahn of Cadet, Marcella Skaggs and husband Everett of Cadet, Rachel Freeman and husband William of Valles Mines, Mora Lee Dobbs and special friend, Lonnie Thompson of Cadet, Rose Dobbs and fiance? Gene Evans of Potosi, Ruby Bell of Grafton, IL; two grandchildren; Aiden Williford and Kathrine Cowley .numerous nieces and nephews; cousins; uncles; aunts; best friend Tom Coleman; and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him. As Butch would say ?EAT CORNBREAD AND SEE YA !?
Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, June 16, 2007 at 1 PM at the Britton Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Rev. Jim Wade officiating. Serving as pallbearers were William Dobbs, Isaac Dobbs, Elliott Courtway, Naymond Dobbs, Cole Richards, Gene Evans, Tommy John Coleman and Tom Coleman.
Interment and final prayers were held at New Diggins Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
