Clyde Mose Buckley of Potosi, Missouri departed this life at the Georgian Gardens Nursing Home having reached the age of ninety five years, eleven months and twenty five days. He was born on January 14, 1913 a son to the late Lewis Buckley and Eliza Fitzwater Buckley.
Clyde was one of the founders of Hazel Creek Church of God. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge of Belgrade. He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was a dear brother, uncle, cousin and friend.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a twin brother Claude Buckley, sister Mildred Pierce and step-son Robert Summers.
Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life is one daughter Shelba Davis and husband Bud of Jackson, Mo; sons Donald Buckley and wife Glenda of Belegrade, Harold Buckley of Ironton, Randall Buckley and wife Judy of Deslodge, Charles Buckley and wife Clarice of Belegrade; step daughter-in-law Maryann Summers of Caledonia; seventeen grandchildren; many great grandchildren; nieces; nephews and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, January 11, 2009 at 2PM at the Britton Chapel with Rev. Leonard Compton officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Donald Buckley, Bud Davis, Ronald Pierce, Danny Buckley, Randall Buckley and David Buckley.
Interment and final prayers were held at Sitton Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
