Cleo Thorpe

April 25, 1924 — September 10, 2014

Cleo Vineyard Thorpe passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at the Potosi Manor Nursing Home having reached the age of ninety years, four months and sixteen days. She was born on April 25, 1924 in Belgrade, Missouri a daughter to the late Otto Fredrick "Dick" Vineyard and Inice (Dickey) Vineyard.
On August 23, 1946 Cleo was united in marriage to Luther Eugene Thorpe in St. Louis and one daughter was born to this union. Cleo was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She was a long time member of the Belgrade United Methodist Church.
Cleo is survived by beloved daughter Terry Thorpe of Belgrade; brother Bill Vineyard and wife Marilyn of Belgrade; sister Pat Kreiger and husband Ron of Kirkwood; two grandchildren Tim Purcell and Kris Purcell; five nephews, one niece and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Belgrade United Methodist Church. A celebration of life service will commence at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 27, 2014.
In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made in honor of Cleo to the Belgrade United Methodist Church 14540 State Highway C Belgrade, Missouri 63622.
Funeral arrangements were respectfully cared for by the DeClue Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
