Cleatis Lee Snowdell of Potosi, Missouri, went to his Heavenly home on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at the age of 85 years, 4 months and 7 days. Cleatis was born on February 22, 1937 in Cadet, Missouri, a son to the late James Mason Snowdell and the late Alice Jane (Ratty) Snowdell.
Those left behind to treasure his memory include his two daughters: Lydia Schlegl (husband, Jon) and Tina Williams (husband, Mike); four grandchildren: Cory Dicus (wife, Sarah), Michelle Williams, Michael Williams, Morgan O'neal (husband, Kelly); five great grandchildren: Braden, Baylie, Nolan, Clark and Kobe; two sisters: Connie Lawson and Betty Turner; and sister-in-law, Jan Snowdell. Cleatis is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
In addition to his father and mother, Cleatis was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Snowdell on May 26, 2004; five siblings: Bobby Ray Snowdell, Terry Lynn Snowdell, Gladine Hebblithwait, James Snowdell and Rita Bowles; as well as many other dear family members.
A time of visitation will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022 from 5 to 8 PM at DeClue Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Saturday, July 2, from 11 AM to 1 PM.
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 1 PM held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Pastor Bob Adams officiating. Interment will follow in the Hopewell Cemetery.
