Clayborne Suttles of Caledonia, Missouri departed this life on November 2, 2009 at his residence having reached the age of forty one years, four months and five days. He was born on June 28, 1968 at Potosi, Missouri a son to Joseph Suttles and Carol Sue (Stringer) Suttles.

On April 1, 1989, Clay was united in marriage to Stacy Antoine and they shared over twenty years together.

Clay was preceded in death by his grandparents Herbert and Mildred Stringer and Grover and Marie Suttles.

Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife Stacy Suttles of Caledonia; two daughters Ashley Suttles and significant other Patrick Mendenhall of Caledonia; Lauren Suttles of Farmington; two sons Eric Suttles of Caledonia, Cody Suttles of Caledonia; parents Joe and Sue Suttles of Mineral Point; mother in law Margret Antoine of St. Charles; four brothers Terry Suttles and wife Carla of o?Fallon, Bryan Suttles of Potosi, Roger Suttles of Wisconsin, Stanley Suttles and wife Sadonya of Mineral Point; two sisters Peggy Gajdosik and husband Gary of Potosi; Crystal Suttles of Mineral Point; one grandchild Hunter Michael Clayborne Mendenhall of Caledonia; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on Friday, November 6, 2009 at 11 AM at the DeClue Family Chapel with Rev. Kenny Gamble officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Eric Suttles, Cody Suttles, Patrick Mendenhall, Terry Suttles, Stanley Suttles, Bryan Suttles, Chris Parks, Jeremy Rawlins, Dwayne Griggs, Sam Allison, Chad Wallis, Scott Rinne, Chris West and Neal Mudge.

Interment and final prayers were held at Thomas Chapel Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
