Clarice Buckley

Clarice Buckley of Belgrade, Missouri, was born on November 26, 1947 in Cadet, Missouri, a daughter of the late Francis and Dorothy (Rulo) Politte. Clarice went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 16, 2023, having reached the age of 75. Clarice was united in marriage to David on July 13, 1968 at Belgrade Church of God and spent over 55 wonderful years together. David and Clarice began attending Bismarck Assembly of God over a year ago and recently took membership there. She was very talented, playing the piano and the accordion. She adored her family and loved spending time with them any chance she could. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping, but also loved watching The Voice and spending time with her dog, Maggie.

Those who remain to cherish her memory include her husband, David Buckley; three children: Patti Johnson (Husband, Mitch), April Buckley, Bryan Buckley (wife, Sara); grandchildren: Jordan Johnson (wife, Becca), Jacob Johnson (wife, Abigail), Jaden Johnson, Zach Richards, Brooke Maberry (husband, Brandon), Emma Boyet (Husband, Noah), Ethan Bradley, Makenzie Shaw (husband, Stephen) and Blake Buckley, and Jaxen Buckley; great-grandchildren: Kaylee Richards, Ashton Boyet, and Weston Shaw and soon coming baby Wrenley; siblings: Clara Pennington, Annie Fenstermaker (husband, David), and Herman Politte. Clarice also leaves behind many special nieces, nephews and extended family.

In addition to her parents, Clarice was preceded in death by her siblings: Larry Politte, Gary Politte, Judy Boyer, Lucy Skaggs, Leoma Huskey, and Virgie Massie Welker; and mother-in-law, Pearl Robinson.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 19, 2023, from 10:30 a.m. until the time of her service at 1 p.m., held at DeClue Funeral Home. Pastor Michael Barton will officiate her service. Interment and final prayers will be held at Caledonia Methodist Cemetery following her service.
