Clarence Wakefield

Clarence Terry Wakefield of Mineral Point, Missouri departed this life on August 27, 2014 at his residence having reached the age of fifty seven years, seven months and three days. He was born on January 24, 1957 in Nashville, Tennessee a son to the late Clarence Wakefield and Floris (Furlow) Wakefield.
In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by a granddaughter Sarah Wakefield, brother Donald Wakefield and a brother in law Curtis Lanny.
On September 4, 2004, Terry was united in marriage to Tami Hollinsworth.
Terry is survived by his wife Tami Wakefield of Mineral Point; son Steven Wakefield of North Carolina; three daughters Tina Wakefield of North Carolina, Jennifer Wakefield of North Carolina, Holly Owens Wright and husband Mario of Belle, Missouri; two brothers Roger Wakefield and wife Donna of Nashville, Tennessee, Jason Wakefield and wife Belinda of Nashville, Tennessee; four sisters Barbara Johnson of Portland, Tennessee, Cheryl Allen and husband Ricky of Hermitage, Tennessee, Sandy Lanny of Nashville, Tennessee, Cindy Fisher and husband Mury of Golf breeze, Florida; eight grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 1 PM at the Grassy Hollow Baptist Church with Rev. Alve Enloe and Rev. Bob Thurman officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Jason Wakefield, Bruce Hollinsworth, Bro. Gary Hollinsworth Jr., Bobby Heeter, Danny Kincaid, Cody Walden, and Ronald Fitzwater. Honorary pallbearers were Jeff Hollinsworth, Gary Hollinsworth, Cecil Brakefield, Joe Sapienza, Brett Vance, Mario Wright, Robert Webb, John Taylor, Andrew Knaup, Keith Brakefield, and Nat Terrell.
Interment and final prayers were held Grassy Hollow Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
