Clara Williams

Clara Louise ?Mae? Williams of Potosi, Missouri passed away at her residence on June 29, 2005 at the age of 75 years 7 months and 23 days. She was born on November 6, 1929 at Cherryville, Missouri, a daughter of the late Frank Caron and Myrtle (Rawlins) Caron.

Mae, as she was called by those close to her, was very active in the Senior Citizens Center. She was a dear mother, a beloved grandmother, sister, aunt, great-grandmother and friend. She brought smiles to many faces and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Clara was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Jo Coffman, brothers David, John and Ed Caron and sisters, Gertrude Lewis and Barbara Caron.

Those who remain to mourn her passing include her daughters Christine Dillingham, Barnhart, Marla Lusk, Virginia Beach, VA, and Martha Sutherlin, Virginia Beach, VA; and a sister, Stella Swyers of LaGrange, TX; grandchildren, Stephanie Hunt, Jennifer Joaquim, Phillip Lusk and Jason Carr, nieces, Betty Benson, Wanda Sumpter and Barbara Hughes; five great-grandchildren, a close family friend Jimmy Skaggs and many other family members and friends.

Funeral services were conducted at 3 PM on Saturday, July 2, 2005 at the Britton Chapel with Rev. Leonard Compton officiating.

All arrangements were entrusted to the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
