Christopher Richards

Christopher Phillip Richards of Potosi, Missouri was born on October 20, 1978 in Washington County, Missouri, a son to Cecelia F. Saunders and James Edward Richards. Chris entered eternal rest on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at the SSM Heath St. Clare Hospital surrounded by his family and friends having reached the age of thirty-nine years and five days.

Chris will be missed by all who knew and loved him including his mother, Cecelia F. Slatton and Wesley of Potosi; father, James E. “Buster” Richards and Lori of Mineral Point; brother, Ryan Saunders of Potosi; sister Amy Sansoucie and husband Willie of Potosi; grandmother, Letty Mae Richards of Mineral Point; nieces and nephews: Dillon, Lane, Owen, Joleen, Wyatt, Haylee, Karlee and Emilee; special cousin Heather Mason and husband Taco of Potosi; sister-in-law, Jennifer Saunders; previous wife, Khyla Stone; special friends: Danielle and Zander Spradling; Samantha Tedford; Gabe and Michelle Tabor and many other friends; also surviving are a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Chris was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandfather, Walter E. Richards and Maternal Grandparents: Ralph and Mary Helen Saunders.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 1-4 p.m. at the DeClue Funeral Home followed by a Memorial Service at 4 p.m. with Pastor James Pashia officiating.
