Cheryl Dawn Carron of Potosi, Missouri was born on April 10, 1969 in St. Louis, Missouri, a daughter to Perry L. Vance and Anna M. (Brown) Vance. Cheryl went to her Heavenly home and was united with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, September 9, 2019 having reached the age of fifty years, four months and thirty days.

Cheryl will be missed by so many who loved and knew her, including her two children: Claira Elise Carron and Gabriel Eugene Francis Carron; father and mother: Perry and Anna Vance; seven siblings: Karan Phyllis Vance, Bethany Ann Cunningham, Melissa Ann Dicus, Darrell Wayne Vance, Clifford Daniel Vance, Anthony Michael Vance, Ashlee Nicole Guenther special friend, Anita Pruitt; friend, Ashley Eckhoff; also surviving are a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, church family and dear friends.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her grandparents: Kenneth and Anna Belle Brown and Freddie and Bertha Vance; great grandparents: Dorsey and Clara Arnold, Edgar and Lucinda Brown, Perry and Cora Nettles, Elijah and Clora Vance; and special uncle Kenneth David “Dewey” Brown.

Cheryl Dawn was many things to many people, but first and foremost, she was a born again Christian, and her faith in Christ showed in everything  she touched to do. She was never scared of hard work, and did her share of it  in this life. Cheryl knew that if you wanted something bad enough, it was worth reaching for. When she put her mind to something, it was going to be accomplished, for  she was  never a  quitter. Even as a child , Cheryl had a heart of gold. As she grew older and dedicated her life wholeheartedly to Jesus Christ, that part of her never changed and it  became very evident early on in her life that she truly  had a servants heart as the Bible speaks of. She loved to be of a  help to others. She had many jobs in her life, but she truly loved the last one that the Lord himself had blessed her with, a Senior Counselor at North County School District, Bonne Terre, MO., helping young adults ready to spring out into life and college. She also loved beautiful sunsets on the water, and God had blessed her in the last few years with a place to do just that. She was wonderful mother to her two children Claira and Gabriel. Cheryl's Godly influence on her children established a firm foundation in their lives. Claira and Gabriel are two incredibly smart, talented and loving people who reflect their mothers beauty. In addition to being a wonderful mother, Cheryl was an excellent seamstress, cook, Baker, artist, photographer, gardener, and as of the last two years, she had taken up wood etching. She even restored and recreated old pieces of furniture. She was an amazing daughter, and one we will sadly miss, but she is Heavens gain and one day we shall see her again.
