Charlotte Mason

On Friday, October 29, 2021, Charlotte Naomi Mason took her final earthly breath and her first heavenly breath.

Charlotte was born on May 1, 1924, at Courtois, Missouri, a daughter of the late David R. Jarvis and the late Bessie L. (Hutchings) Jarvis. On August 17, 1940, Charlotte was united in marriage to Carson E. Mason and three children were born to this union.

Charlotte was a longtime member of Irondale First Church of God. She was an excellent seamstress who enjoyed making clothes and quilts for family and friends.

Those who remain to cherish her memory include her daughter, Linda Ralston (husband, Jim); eleven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and thirteen great-great grandchildren; two daughters-in-law: Anna Mason and Joyce Mason; and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Carson Mason; two sons: Vernon Mason and Noel Mason; two infant siblings: Carl and Elwood; five siblings: Larna Huff, Revay O’Brien, Darwin Jarvis, Damon Jarvis and Nelda Blair.

A time of visitation will be held on Sunday, October 31, 2021 from 11 AM until the time of her funeral service at 1 PM, held at DeClue Funeral Home, 301 East High Street, Potosi, MO. 63664.

Interment will follow at Redbud Memorial Gardens, Potosi, MO. DeClue Funeral Home was honored to have ministered to the family and friends of Mrs. Charlotte Mason.
