Charles Vance

Charles E. Vance of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on April 26, 2010 at his residence having reached the age of seventy years, two months and seven days. He was born on February 19, 1940 at Cadet, Missouri a son to the late John Vance and Mildred (Wilkerson) Vance.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his wife Ruby Vance, son Roger Vance, daughter Elaine Vance, grandson Justin Vance, two brothers Curtis Vance and Derwood Vance.

Those who remain to mourn his passing are two sons Charles ?Chuck? Vance of Potosi; Kevin Vance of Potosi; daughter Angela Vance of Potosi; two brothers Arnold Vance and wife Jeanette of Potosi; Carl Vance and wife Phyllis of St. Charles; two sisters Marcela Worley of Gerald, MO, Lealla Hill and husband Donnie of Potosi; eleven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at 1 PM at the DeClue Family Chapel with Rev. Charles Williams and Elder Leonard Compton officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Kevin Vance, Eddie Stark, Caleb Griffin, Eli Vance, Mickey Goodson and Matt Yarbrough.

Interment and final prayers were held at Sunset Hill Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
